Ouzoud Waterfalls and Marrakesh

Discover Morocco’s natural wonder on a full-day trip to Shallalat of Ouzoud from Marrakech. Take a trip to the Atlas Mountains and see the majestic 110-meter waterfalls faling from the steep cliffs with your own eyes. The whole trip will end with a visit to mysterious Marrakesh with its palaces, museums and gardens. To the list of oriental experiences it is worth adding an evening at the famous Jemaa El Fna square and a walk along the medina.

The tour starts from your hotel where we will pick you up. Enjoy stunning views as you travel across the Atlas Mountains. Wander the roads between desert hills with palm groves and numerous old villages around. As you travel, discover the fascinating history of the Ouzoud Falls. Their name “uzud” derives from the Berber language and it means “grinding grain”. They are considered the highest natural waterfalls in North Africa. The mountains rise over 1000 meters, from where there is a breathtaking view of the surrounding area. During the tour, discover the beauty of green scenery with many species of monkeys and birds. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant overlooking the falls. In the evening we will move to Marrakesh to visit the famous Jamaa El Fna Square at night. After breakfast, we will go for a walk around the medina, we will visit all its nooks and crannies. Then, depending on your interests, we will take you either to the Saadian tombs, palaces, museums and a tannery or to the Jardin Majoralle gardens with the Yves Saint Laurent museum.
